This image makes me feel peaceful. It’s one of my very favorites. There’s warmth and healing to be found here. It’s as if the flower has turned toward the sun.

This shiny, glossy red against the rust made for an interesting combination. Red always catches my eye, but this red in particular made me want to not only photograph it but reach out and touch it too.
